The mission of the Department of Special Programs and Title III is to support student success by developing and providing resources and services to SIPI faculty, staff, and the Board of Regents through grants and funding that are aligned with the College’s strategic goals.
SIPI The vision of the Department of Special Programs and Title III is to support student success by enhancing SIPI’s development and cultivation of resources and supporting the College’s instructional capacity and student services.I has identified four core competencies that all SIPI certificate and associate degree students will demonstrate upon completion of a program of study at SIPI. The competencies are in SIPI’s basic mission statement and represent the most deeply held values of the college. The competencies help ensure that our graduates will be informed and committed citizens, prepared for the technological, behavioral and practical needs of modern workplaces and communities for life-long learning. SIPI has identified the minimal amount of general education courses for each certificate and/or degree program as follows:
