The Agriculture program offers an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in two areas of emphasis:
The AAS degree in Agribusiness is a five-trimester course of study designed to provide the student with appropriate knowledge and skills in applying business management principles to agricultural technology. This program is designed to meet the needs of agriculture-related businesses in Native American communities. The Agribusiness program provides students with instruction and education in applying business management principles and practices to a broad base in agricultural technology, enabling them to effectively and successfully manage and operate a ranch or farm. Soil and Crop Science is a five-trimester course of study emphasizing the basic sciences, including chemistry, biology, and physiology, in relation to crop production and environmental responsibility. This program is designed to meet the needs of those students wishing to pursue a career in production agriculture.
