Care and Maintenance:
- Before each use, perform the following checks:
- Confirm that batteries are charged. The 9.6-volt battery should be
above 9 volts.
- Perform a quick visual inspection of the motors and gears to verify
no foreign object is in the motor chamber.
- Examine all wires and make sure that they are properly connected.
- Keep the robot clean. Regularly use compressed air to clean the circuit
components of the robot. In addition, make sure the sensors are clean and
no obstructions are on the sensors.
- Store the robot in a clean, cool, and dry place. Storage at room temperature
is recommended.
- Exercise caution and follow proper procedures to avoid static discharge.
The components on the robot are static sensitive.
- When finished using the robot, remove the battery and/or remove the motor
inputs from the motor driver port. This ensures the motors from accidentally
turning on.
