my name is Joy four-hands I am the operations manager for the New Mexico Workforce Connection here in the central region of New Mexico we strive to support business and promote the workforce with all of our resources program Services until we also have the benefit of having Mexico workforce connections across the state of New Mexico in addition outside of the state there's also similar Workforce centers and Workforce systems that you can access Across the Nation that offers similar employment and Career Services as well as packages to training and education opportunity job Seekers and employers for job Seekers we provide information send resources workshops to help them get job ready for when they're going out to apply for their next job or career so that I can include anything from a variety of Assessments a skill assessment interest assessment looking for their right niche Marketplace we can also help them develop and enhance their resumes and they're interviewing style pairing them for sitting across from that perspective employer and we can also provide linkages to training and education opportunities through various initiatives like our Tech are grants and getting a foot into the door into the tech industry or all of the other training providers that we have access to here in the central region what were train you do is go to where our customers are and the sippy students is a perfect example of day we've had staff go out and provide assessment and career Readiness Workshop to include those resume Workshops the mock interview opportunities which are great for students and getting that real-world experience is sitting with an employer and getting ready for some of those questions they may be asked during that process we've also provided a range of other Supportive Services really helped him get job-ready and familiar with the world of work I think it benefits the Workforce Connection in fulfilling our mission and really supporting that Workforce and especially our future Workforce or student I'm at it also supports those students in providing them the skills and a little bit of a stuffed up into entering the supermarket presidents can definitely access our website at ww.w. Jobs. State. NM. Us that is into the Workforce Connection system from there they can create an account and then see all of the various functionality of that system that helps them access all of our systems and resources that also provide a wealth of information to Belle Mead as a job Seeker I can also come into all of our centers and our office locations are also listed on that website but we have an office in each of the four counties with largest sensor being here in Albuquerque at 501 Mountain Road give you an extra leg up in the marketplace and to be able to make sure that you go in and you are able to identify all of your skills your qualifications and your assets as a job candidate in the best and most articulate way to those employers so you land that next job or career opportunity
