Albuquerque provides 310 days of sunshine that allow the students, staff, and faculty opportunities to go hiking in the Sandia & Jemez mountains, to plan weekend or day trips to national parks like Carlsbad Caverns or White Sands, and opportunities to visit historical parks like Chaco Culture National Historic Park or Pecos National Historical Park.
Additionally, students, staff, and faculty can attend family friendly events like the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Fiestas de Santa Fe, Roswell UFO Festival, Albuquerque River of Lights, and many more throughout the year.
