- Facilities and services available to disabled students:
- For students with disabilities, the Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist assists in the area of transitioning and assists students in arranging their academic and residential accommodations. The Specialist assures students receive the support services needed for accomplishing their educational and career goals. The Specialist collaborates and coordinates with external agencies and programs citywide, statewide, and nationwide, as well as with tribal entities. The office is located in the SIPI Student Center.

- Student Complaint Policy and Procedures - SIPI will ensure that student complaints are heard and properly tracked through a uniform process outlined by the Student Complaints Policy. This process will be used by SIPI faculty, staff, and students to accept and process student-initiated complaints. The purpose of this policy is to provide a method for prompt and equitable settlement of student-initiated complaints in which no other forum is available. This tracking process will be used to monitor and improve customer service for students. - Drug-Free Workplace (pg. 16) In accordance with Executive Order 12564, Drug-Free Federal Workplace, dated September 15, 1986, SIPI's policy was issued September 19, 1989, in fulfillment of federal requirements. This policy prohibits the unlawful use of controlled substances in the workplace, provides penalties for employees convicted of drug-related violations on the job, and establishes employee awareness and counseling resources.
