Mission Statement
The SIPI Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness and Planning strives to support student success by improving the quality and efficiency of information services to support fact-based decision making and the assessment of student outcomes and institutional effectiveness. The office seeks to encourage a data-driven environment by offering data collection, analysis and reporting to staff, faculty, committees, the Board of Regents, and students.
Vision Statement
The SIPI Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness and Planning will facilitate and foster a culture of evidence and a culture of innovation throughout the SIPI community to turn numbers into ideas, and ideas into innovations that improve the environment for student success.
Performance Objectives
- The Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness and Planning will provide data/analytic support to the institution to support a culture of evidence.
- The Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness and Planning will provide oversight of the strategic planning function for the college, providing annual reports of strategic activity.
- The Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness and Planning will provide support in fulfilling reporting requirements to external agencies.
- The Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness and Planning will provide oversight of continuous improvement and sustainability efforts, providing annual reports of institutional effectiveness.
- The Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness and Planning will provide quality services that meet client expectations.
- The Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness and Planning will maintain and manage the student information system to ensure data quality and integrity for internal and external reporting.
