STARS is the student information system used by SIPI.  The system is accessible to users on the BIA network, connected to the network using a PIV card.  This page includes essential resources, such as the STARS User Guide (which provides step-by-step instructions for most common procedures), the data dictionary (which details all data tables and fields in the system), the form to request a STARS user account, as well as instructions for logging into the system.  These documents are provided on the right side of this screen.  Double click to download the necessary file(s).

 

The most current version of STARS is version 1.17.  Users should have the most current version installed on their computers.  If an upgrade is required, please contact [email protected].  

 

A new, web-based version of STARS has been developed and is being further customized to better meet the functional needs of various STARS users (e.g., faculty, advisors, department chairs, admissions staff, financial aid staff, etc.).  Updates to the new system and its rollout will be included on this page.  Additionally, training videos for various functions will be developed and made available through this page.  These video clips will address frequently asked questions about the system and its features.  Please check back for updates.
